Yeah, Meta doing what Meta does best I guess. I see zero (0) views on all of my posts on Threads (even those which have comments, likes, etc.). This week’s posts have gathered a astounding 2 likes and 0 comments in total (and 0 views, I guess). Flatlining. 🙃

Great work on the new Mythos theme @Mtt! Now I want to fork it and do some tinkering, there goes the Saturday! 😂
A bit of an “apples-to-oranges” comparison, but just out of curiosity—here are the blog vs. Threads “views” from the past 30 days. The blog views are totals, not uniques (uniques would be around 500). In other words, getting 👀’s for blog is hard! 😄
Any bloggers here from the Nordics (especially if you blog in your native language)? I’d love to check out how others approach personal blogging (and social media) when it’s not in English. 😁
Oh, wait! Speaking about old domains.. this very domain actually turned 20 this year! How have I missed that.. Pop the champagne! 😃🍾
Holy moly! Just rediscovered an archive of nearly 100 draft posts I once planned to finish and publish on nomadcouch.com — a blog I ran until 2012. Brought back some golden memories! 😄 That’s 13 years ago… where does the time go? Maybe it’s time to reimagine it and start fresh? 🫢
Oh cool, my Instagram “For You” feed just served me a promoted post with borderline porn. Full-nudity image carousel, nothing “artistic” about it. Reported it, naturally — but guess what? “Doesn’t violate community guidelines.” Of course not. Why would it? 🙃

How come so many people still call X ‘Twitter’? I mean, it’s been almost two years since the rebrand, and I still see ‘Follow me on Twitter’–type links several times a day in emails alone. Is it intentional? It can’t all be “oh, I forgot to change that” type of oops? 😄
Bluesky down? Never seen that happen before (doesn’t seem to work on mobile either) 😅
I sometimes find myself cancelling my Micro.blog subscription on a whim when I start thinking about blogging on a new platform (sorry @manton! 😅). But after each time, I find myself coming back. Why? There just ain’t a publishing platform out there that makes the barrier of publishing this easy. Plus, of course as there’s a backlog of previous posts already, you avoid the horror of staring at your fancy new blog with just one blog post published.
Having said that, there is a completely new blog design coming soon (on micro.blog). Just takes a while for me to get all the pixels in the right order, before I’m happy with it. 😁
